Our Events

The CHCA hosts numerous events and fundraisers throughout the year, all run by neighbors and volunteers!

Our biggest fundraisers include the MLK Luncheon, the annual plant sale, and our fall festival. However, we offer many fun activities that are free and open to the public!

During the summer, we have weekly volleyball, yoga, and reading in the park activities. We also host fun and free one-off events such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Memorial Day Picnic, and the neighborhood yard sale. Stay tuned because we're always adding more events!

Of course, we wouldn't be a civic club if we didn't also give back to our community. We coordinate volunteer opportunities, such as our Adopt-a-Highway litter pickups, and participate in the Penn Hills Partnership which helps promote the efforts of other local organizations that serve the community.

Newsletters

Our Newsletters gets distributed 3-4 times a year by 38 volunteers who hand deliver it to every home in the Crescent Hills neighborhood.

Stumbled on this gem while house hunting in the area. Wife and kids really enjoyed how secluded, but secure it was. Our babies are young, so the fact that all of the play items were sized for smaller childen, really drove their experience home. There's a tennis court, basketball court and covered gazebo with picnic tables. If we land the home we want in the area, this will definitely be our go to spot!! Very clean and well maintained by the surrounding community!
