Current Layout
The court is currently configured for tennis and hockey. We provide a tennis net and two hockey nets. This is one of the few remaining open air tennis courts in Penn Hills. In recent years we completed a drainage project to keep the courts dry, but a state grant was needed to fund repairs from water damage and resurface/restripe. We can change the striping or seek additional funds to support what our community wants.
Some Alternatives
Pickleball has been the most requested sport from our members. If we decide to keep tennis and hockey while adding pickleball or other similarly sized sport, we have a few different layouts to consider. These are only early concepts and other alternatives may be considered. Share your ideas with us!
Standard Tennis Court (Yellow), Junior/3v3 Hockey 100ftx50ft with regulation clearance behind net and obstacles (Blue), Standard Pickleball (Orange)
